Saving our home and saving us.
Thieves Household Cleaner for starters...
This should be a no-brainer to those of you who’ve followed our wellness journey, but in case you’ve never heard… toxic chemicals lurk in every single one of our household products. Don’t believe me? Download the Think Dirty app and go scan what’s under your sink. You’ll be DISGUSTED by what is allowed in our household cleaners and even more so once you start doing some research into how those ingredients affect our bodies.
From what we wash our hands with, to what we wash our clothes in, what we spray on our yards, the soap we use to wash the dishes, the air fresheners we spray throughout the house, to even the toothpaste we use everyday...chemicals upon chemicals are found in these products and they have direct links to respiratory issues, hormone imbalances, cancer, and many other body issues.
Synthetic chemicals in these products mimic hormones and interfere with how they are to properly work. And because we are exposed to chemicals constantly from the beginning of life in utero to death, our hormones are constantly in a war, trying to do what they were designed to do despite chemicals interrupting their processes. You can imagine the chaos this causes: developmental, reproductive, neurological, and immune disorders.

Here are a few common hormone disruptors:

✔ Bisphenol A (BPA) / found in plastic; some concern for effects on the brain, behavior, and prostate gland in fetuses, infants, and children
✔ Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) / found in manufacturing consumer food packaging; human development concern
✔ Dioxin / formed during industrial processes when chlorine or bromine are burned in the presence of carbon and oxygen, most of American food supply is contaminated; can affect male sperm permanently and reproductive and immune systems
✔ Atrazine / used on majority of corn crops and found in drinking water; linked to breast tumors, delayed puberty and prostate inflammation in animals, and some research shows link to prostate cancer in humans
✔ Phthalates / found in plastic food containers, children’s toys, skincare products, and plastic wrap; linked to hormone changes, lower sperm count, less mobile sperm, birth defects in the male reproductive system, obesity, diabetes and thyroid irregularities

SO! One easy way I got lots of toxic chemicals out of our home was use Thieves Household Cleaner. This one bottle is a concentrate and makes a gzillion 16 ounce bottles of spray. We used the same bottle for over a year, really!!.  It’s insane! Not only does it save money, but it literally saves our lives too. During these years into my second half of a century, I especially want  my immune system and hormones to be as in-sync as possible and I know switching to Thieves products has been instrumental in this.
Time to retire and replace the harmful chemicals of yesteryear. Protect your home  and your family with natural alternatives.
